Uniform and Equipment for CAPTAIN ACTION

 

	Sgt Fury uniform and equipment was part of the original issue costumes for Captain Action.  It was the only set that was not reissued as part of the second series, and so was never available in a ring box.  The set contains a Face Mask, Walkie Talkie, Helmet, Machine Gun, Gun Belt, Grenades, Boots, Bandolier, Camo suit and 45 Caliber Pistol.
	Sgt Fury uniform.  One piece camo jumpsuit with a zipper down the front.  This makes it unique, since all other Captain Action uniforms had snaps.  It might look like a GIJoe camo suit, but just look for that Captain Action label inside.
	Sgt Fury Mask, one of three versions.  This one has the painted mustache, but not the painted beard.  All versions of the Sgt Fury mask had white lips.
	Sgt Fury Mask, bearded version, side view.   The third version did not have a painted mustache or beard.
	Sgt Fury Helmet with Chin Strap.  Pliable olive drab plastic.  Similar to the helmet used in Marx Toys "Stoney Smith" figure.  The way to tell them apart is to look on the inside:  The Stoney Smith helmet has ridges on the inside, while the inside of the Sgt Fury Helmet is smooth.
	Sgt Fury Boots.  Very similar to the boots from the Steve Canyon set, but there are subtle differences.  Steve Canyon's boots have stitching embossed on the sides while these do not.
	Sgt Fury Belt.  Very similar to the Steve Canyon belt, but this belt has ammo pouches and Steve Canyon's doesn't.
	Sgt Fury Bandolier.  The bandolier is worn across the shoulder and the grenades hang from the three loops.  Tends to shrink with age and can be a tight fit.
	Sgt Fury Machine Gun.  Olive drab plastic with sliver accents.  Thomson M1A1, 45 caliber.  A black version of this gun was included with the weapons arsenal.
	Sgt Fury Walkie Talkie.  Olive drab Plastic with silver accents.  The antenna is fragile and easily broken.  This accessory is very similar to the walkie talkie included with Marx "Stoney Smith" figures.
	Sgt Fury 45 caliber pistol.  Olive drab plastic with silver accents.  The same basic pistol as used in the Steve Canyon and Phantom sets, although this one is green as opposed to black.  Also repainted and included in the Weapons Arsenal.
	Sgt Fury Grenade.  Olive drab plastic with silver accents.  The set contained three grenades, designed to hang from the three loops on the bandolier by their pins.  The pins are easily broken.  The grenade was repainted red and black and included as part of the Weapons Arsenal.
